VMEB Certified Music Learning Centre

VMEB Certified Music Learning Centres are the organizations accredited by the Board for organizing and offering musical instrument practice programs/lessons for preparing the Board’s music exam, and authorized by the Board to act as the exam centre for the Board’s music exam. VMEB Certified Music Learning Centres are entitled to the following rights:-

1. To organize and offer musical instrument programs/lessons using the title of VMEB Certified Music Learning Centre.
2. To act as exam centre and to provide services with regard to the Board’s music exam.
3. To nominate its qualified teachers to be VMEB Certified Music Tutor (who can act as exam supervisor, not examiner, in the Board’s music exam), subject to the Board’s approval.

VMEB Certified Music Tutor

VMEB Certified Music Tutors are the qualified music teachers accredited by the Board to teach musical instrument practice for preparing the Board’s music exam. They are also authorized by the Board to act as exam supervisor in the Board’s music exam. VMEB Certified Music Tutors are entitled to the following rights:-

1. To conduct teaching in musical instrument practice using the title of VMEB Certified Music Tutor.
2. To perform duty as exam supervisor for the Board’s music exam.

There are two ways to register to be VMEB Certified Music Tutor:
(1) Apply directly to the Board
(2) Nominated by VMEB Certified Music Learning Centre

VMEB Certified Early Childhood Music Education Training Centre

VMEB Certified ECME Training Centres are the organizations approved and authorized by the Board to organize and offer the Board’s Early Childhood Music Education (ECME) program using the Board’s syllabus. Students successfully completed the ECME program conducted by VMEB Certified Trainer at VMEB Certified ECME Training Centre are eligible to receive early childhood music education graduate certificate issued by the Board, subject to satisfaction of other requirements.

The Board demands a very high standard and requirements for VMEB Certified ECME Training Centre. Any organization wishing to apply to register to be VMEB Certified ECME Training Centre must meet and maintain all the requirements set by the Board at all time.

VMEB Certified ECME Training Centres are entitled to the following rights:-

1. To organize and offer the Board’s early childhood music education programs.
2. To nominate its qualified teachers to be VMEB Certified ECME Trainer, subject to the Board’s approval.
3. To apply early childhood music education graduate certificates from the Board for their students (subject to satisfaction of other requirements – ECME Program).
